Welcome to the Spa Chalets in Imatra. Our Spa Chalet lomahuoneistot (holiday apartments) are named Spa Chalet Erica and Spa Chalet Calluna. My name is Timo and it is my pleasure to ensure you get the most from your stay at our holiday apartments. Whether you are a sports lover or a nature hiker, there is so much you can do here in Imatra depending on your interests. So ,here are some tips I have picked for you.
The Imatra Spa
As we are located on the side of the Imatran Spa, it is natural you take your time to enjoy the pools, saunas and water massage. In my opinion the Imatra Spa is overwhelmingly the best spa in the area. You can buy the entrance at the hotel reception. You can get there through the inside corridor.
The Nature
Summertime is the best time to enjoy Lake Saimaa. Take a boat trip to see the the most beautiful archipelago. Or rent a Sauna Boat😎 The other Floating Sauna is theSaunalautta Sisu. There is also a kanoe rent as well as sup board rentals.
Whatever time of the year you come, you can get to the nature paths right from the front door. The paths are well marked and there are different paths for hikers, skiers or bikers. How about renting a fatbike.
At the nature path there are over 20 spots, where are qr-codes with explanation of finnish nature. Check out the link to the map here
Perhaps you’d like to take a picnic to Lammassaari. Pack some finnish sausage in your back bag and go to an open grill place. Check out the location at Google maps here

Imatrankoski
You can’t say been in Imatra unless you have seen the Imatrankoski. Check out here the schedule for the Rapids Shows

Next to Imatrankoski is the Imatran Valtionhotelli. So called ”Valtsu” as the locals say.
Restaurants
My absolute favourite is the Nuotta. Goos food, good location and beautiful view. Unfortunately it is open only in the summertime. Their webpage is here
Buttenhoff is at the walking street in Imatrankoski centrum. Their webpage is here
Restaurant Cascade is the Valtionhotelli restaurant. Good opportunity to visit the historical castle building. Restaurant page an menu is here
